Your finances are personal. This Privacy Policy explains how Waletix collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile and web applications.

1.3 AI interactions (WALI)

When you use WALI AI, Waletix securely processes your prompts and relevant financial summaries through our backend services. These services may use third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) to generate insights and responses.

This information is processed only to provide the requested functionality, is not used for advertising, and is not used to build profiles outside of your Waletix account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • • Create and manage your account
  • • Display dashboards, budgets, and summaries
  • • Generate insights and responses using WALI AI
  • • Sync your data across devices
  • • Maintain app performance and reliability
  • • Protect against unauthorized access or abuse

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Waletix offers a paid subscription that may include a free trial period. All payments, billing, and subscription management are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.

Waletix does not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account information, or billing details. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

4. Data Storage & Security

Waletix uses secure third-party infrastructure, including Supabase, to store and manage your data. We rely on:

  • • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL)
  • • Database-level security controls
  • • Per-user authorization so you only access your data

No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously work to protect your information.

5. How We Share Information

We do not share your personal or financial data with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Data may be shared only with trusted service providers that help operate Waletix, including:

  • • Cloud hosting and database providers
  • • AI service providers that generate requested responses

These providers act solely as data processors and are required to handle your information securely and only according to our instructions.

6. No Tracking or Advertising

Waletix does not track users across apps or websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not serve third-party ads. We do not sell or share data for tracking or advertising purposes.

7. Your Choices & Rights

  • • Correct inaccurate account information
  • • Request an export of your financial entries
  • • Request deletion of your account and data

8. Account Deletion & Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time within the app. Upon deletion, your data is removed from active systems. Backup copies may be retained for up to 60 days for security and disaster recovery purposes before being permanently deleted.

9. Children’s Privacy

Waletix is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here and may be communicated within the app.
